Una piccola «compagnia di giro» che Cinque, mente lucida della migliore world music di frontiera, come testimonia il recente l'album «Passaggi», guida sulle rotte della «post-contaminazione» passando di progetto in progetto: «Al Madre mettiamo insieme rimembranze etniche, la veracità profonda della voce di Raiz, il pianoforte jazz di Bonafede. E ridiamo potere alla parola, come il rap, come già facevano gli aedi. Tra musica e spoken word, insomma, tra i Last Poets, Omero e i griot africani», spiega il compositore, sassofonista ed ex Canzoniere del Lazio. La «compagnia» di giro di Cinque con Raiz, già provata dal vivo come su disco, ha diversi progetti in cantiere: «Con l'aggiunta di Iaia Forte prepariamo un concerto teatrale intitolato "Comizi di guerra", a richiamare i "Comizi d'amore" pasoliniani, a ribadire il vuoto lasciato sulla scena intellettuale dalla sua penna feroce e sincera. Con l'aggiunta di Onofrio Pirrotta, invece, porteremo al teatro greco di Segesta la nostra rilettura sonora dell'"Eneide"», continua Cinque. «So che recentemente Brian Eno, guarda caso proprio presentando una sua installazione al Madre, ha espresso la sua ammirazione per l'arte da cuntista di Pirrotta, oltre che per la voce di Maria Nazionale: ne sono felice, ma non dobbiamo aspettare il giudizio di nessuno, neppure di una artista importante come l'ex Roxy Music, per capire di quali talenti è dotata la scena musicale italiana che non va in televisione.
