Groupe au parcours sulfureux, EXPRESSION DIREKT est composé de DELTA, KERTRA, LE T.I.N. et WEEDY, tous issus des STK, une bande réputée du début des années 90 basée au Val Fourré à Mantes-la-Jolie. Première apparition discographique sur la compilation Ghetto Youth Progresss en 1994. Le premier titre Mon Esprit Part En C***, premier morceau authentiquement racailleux de l'histoire du rap français, est aujourd'hui un classique. Mathieu Kassovitz l'intègre à la B.O. de La Haine. Pour la compilation inspirée du film, ils signent Dealer pour survivre, un autre classique. En 96, LE T.I.N. et WEEDY, auto-produisent l'album Guet-Apens. Cet album figure depuis dans le classement des légendes du rap français. Le succès de cet album sera confirmé en 97 avec le hit-single La Roue Tourne. En 98, le premier album d'EXPRESSION DIREKT, Le Bout du Monde sort chez Island. Les radios prétendues rap et les médias de masses interdirent l'accès aux plateaux de télévisions à ce groupe dont l'identité et la musique reflètent trop bien la réalité des cités. De son expérience en Major, EXPRESSION DIREKT apprend une chose : mieux vaut régner en enfer que servir au paradis. En se basant sur cette idée, le groupe sort en 2000 Wesh On Ecoute Ou Quoi ?, album qui marque le retour à l'indépendance. Avec son propre label Phenomene Records, LE T.I.N. produit Le Code de l'Honneur, premier album de Rohff. KERTRA, quant à lui réalise son premier projet solo Le Labyrinthe. En 2002, alors que le rap français s'intègre toujours plus dans la variété, EXPRESSION DIREKT entre dans le Top Album avec D.Terminé, le dernier album du groupe le plus crapuleux. Kertra sort Le Labyrinthe 2 en 2003. Weedy sort son solo 24 Heures d'un M.C Yégri en 2005. Restent encore à venir un album solo de Delta et l'album enregistré par Le T.I.N. avec son frère John Deido (de La Brigade). EXPRESSION DIREKT n'a pas fini de perturber le système en place. Quand tout ira bien, EXPRESS DI n'existera plus.

Psy4 De La Rime est un groupe de rap français originaire de Marseille. Le groupe est fondé en 1995 dans les quartiers Nord de Marseille, sous le nom de KDB (Kid Dog Black). Il se compose de Segnor Alonzo, Don Vincenzo, Soprano originaires des Iles Comores, et du DJ Sya Styles, le marocain. Les Psy4 commencent par la scène, notamment en première partie de groupes comme les Sages Poètes de la Rue, la Fonky Family ou DJ Cut Killer. Dès 1998, ils font différents titres sur les bandes originales de Zonzon et Comme un aimant, mais aussi sur les compilations Time Bomb, Sad Hill Impact et Sur un air positif (2001). Forts de ces premières expériences, les quatre musiciens s'attèlent à leur premier album, Block Party, qui sort en mars 2002. C'est cet album Block Party qui révèle les Psy4 de la Rime à un public beaucoup plus large, grâce à des morceaux comme Le Son des Bandits, Block Party, ou encore La Vengeance aux Deux Visages. D'entrée le groupe marseillais démontre ses talents techniques. D'une part au niveau des productions qui s'avèrent très soignées, qu'elles soient mélancoliques à base de samples de classique (Repère les Collabos , La Vengeance aux deux visages) ou plus énergiques (Sale bête, Block Party). Les flows différents mais complémentaires de Don Vincenzo, Segnor Alonzo et Soprano ne laissent pas indifférent et le groupe peut alors préparer son second album en jouissant d'une certaine notoriété, et en ayant réussi à redorer le blason d'un rap marseillais alors dans le creux de la vague. Enfants de la lune, le second LP du groupe, sort fin septembre 2005. Entre temps, Soprano s'est consacré au développement de son label Street Skillz. Des instrumentales plus synthétiques -sauf pour Au Front où l'on retrouve un sample tiré de la bande originale du film Avalon par Kenji Kawai, et Enfants de la lune avec Ana Torroja, où le groupe s'offre à la fois le sample et la chanteuse du groupe espagnol Mecano, des textes plus personnels, Comme une bouteille à la mer, solo poignant de Soprano où le rappeur revient sur sa relation avec sa mère. Ils auront amené la révélation de Soprano, rappeur très prolifique multipliant les productions, les apparitions scéniques et les collaborations, ayant lui même permis à des talents très prometteurs comme Mino ou l'Algérino de percer. Le groupe fait également partie du label 361 records, label monté par Akhenaton ou on y retrouve entre autre des artistes tel que Chiens de paille, L'Algérino, Said et Veus Lyricist. Segnor Alonzo = DJAE Kassimou = d'origine comorienne. Don Vincenzo = ISSILAME illiassa = d'origine comorienne. Soprano = M'ROUMBABA Saïd = d'origine comorienne. Oui http://Jesuismillionaire.com , entrez dans le club! Kery James est un rappeur français, né le 28 décembre 1977 aux Abymes en Guadeloupe, de parents haïtiens. Il est élevé par sa mère à Orly en banlieue parisienne, dans le Val-de-Marne. Suite à sa conversion à l'Islam, Kery James, de son vrai nom Alix Mathurin, change son prénom en "Ali". Il commence à rapper à l'âge de 12 ans (1989) et apparaît sur l'album de MC Solaar Qui sème le vent récolte le tempo sous le nom de Kery B (morceau Ragga jam) (Kery James a aussi joué dans un court métrage, Le bledia). Il est membre du groupe Ideal J (initialement intitulé Ideal Junior du fait de leurs jeunes âges), dont il est le principal MC, aux côtés de Teddy Corona, Alter et Selim. Le groupe sort en 1992 le maxi La vie est brutale. Suite à des divergences artistiques, le groupe n'enregistre pas de morceaux et subit une traversée du désert en 1992 et 1996. Le premier véritable album d'Ideal J sort en 1996, Original MC's sur une mission, qui contient les titres Ghetto français , Show business et Je dois faire du cash. En 1998, Ideal J sort sur le label Arsenal Records l'album Le combat continue avec notamment le titre Hardcore. Mais après l'assassinat en 1999 de son ami d'enfance, Las Montana, Kery James s'éloigne du groupe pour s'investir dans l'Islam. Il délaisse un temps la musique pour la religion. La sortie de son premier album solo, d'abord prévu pour janvier 2001, est repoussée. Si c'était à refaire sort en octobre 2001 avec entre autres les titres 28 décembre 1977, Si c'était à refaire, Soledad, Y'a pas de couleur. Dans cet album, aucun instrument à vent ou à cordes n'est présent. En 2005, après sa participation à la compilation Illicite Projet avec son titre Je ne crois plus en l'illicite, est sorti son album solo, Ma Vérité avec les titres J'aurais pu dire, Les miens ou encore Hardcore (2005) avec la participation de Iron Sy. Le samedi 21 juillet 2007, accompagné de quelques amis dont le rappeur Rohff, il rencontre MC Jean Gab'1 à Paris (porte de Vincennes), une altercation s'en suit. Chacun exprimera sa version des faits par vidéos diffusées sur internet[1],[2]. Après avoir quitté la Mafia K'1 Fry, tout en participant à un morceau sur l'album La cerise sur le ghetto, il revient comme artiste à part entière dans le collectif et participe à l'album Jusqu'à la mort. L'album À l'ombre du show-business est sorti le 31 mars 2008 et a été propulsé dès sa première semaine à la 3ème place des charts français, grâce notamment aux titres Le combat continue Part III, Banlieusards et Vrai Peura. L'album désormais disque d'or [3], a suscité des critiques pas toujours positives visant à stigmatiser le prétendu virage artistique pris par Kery. En octobre 2008, Kery James sort le titre X&Y avec un clip déconseillé aux moins de 10 ans et réalisé par Mathieu Kassovitz.
