Bremerhavener Nordhang. Einundsiebzig. Mmmh, ein guter Jahrgang, nicht nur bei der Heringsernte. Die Welt-Metropole bringt in diesem Jahr ihren drittberühmtesten Sohn hervor. Einen ziemlich späten Renaissance - Künstler. Ein sehr frühes Kind der Generation X. Wer es jetzt schon peilt, gehört wohl zur Familie. Durch die Amis, die seit der Weltkriegs-Besetzung in der Stadt geblieben waren, kommt er schon früh nicht an der Funk&Soul-Abteilung des Lebens vorbei. Dank guter Connections, innerhalb der großen Familie Bremerhaven, kann er sich immer wieder neue Vinyls aneignen. So wird Musik schon früh ein wichtiger Teil seines Lebens, um nicht zu sagen: Sucht. Und so geht es los. Er sieht "Beatstreet" noch im Kino, und startet mit den üblichen Verdächtigen die deutsche HipHop-Serie. Ab 84 veredelt er erste Jams mit seinem Style und macht sein Motto zum Namen. Na? Wer könnte das wohl sein?! Schaun`mer mal... Er battlet sich über diverse DJ-Meisterschaften, burnt dabei einiges und rockt alles an Partys, quer durch das Land. Inzwischen allerdings Profi und auf MK's umgestiegen. Inspiriert von Mixmaster Ice, Marley Marl und DJ Supreme, joggt er seinen musikalischen Weg erstmal alleine und bastelt Skills, die hier noch keiner hat: Cut ist sozusagen sein zweiter Name. So bekommt auch sein erster Name zwangsläufig einen immer lauteren Klang, und schon bald vereinigt er sich mit Kaoz, Crak und TNG zu No Remorze. Eine der ersten Crews mit zwei DJ`s, und nicht nur deswegen legendär, sind sie doch die deutschen Paten des, lange Zeit vorherrschenden, britischen Hardcore-Sounds. Sie bringen die aggressiven Cuts aus England mit und als Haupt-DJ wird unser Held zum Sinnbild für harte und präzise Platten-Action. Durch hunderte von Gigs bringt er mit No Remorze die deutsche HipHop-Konzertkultur Meilen nach vorne und schafft mit der Formation bis jetzt zwei Maxis und eine LP. Und wer nun? Man sollte es bereits ahnen. Schon gar nicht schlecht, aber das langt ihm nicht. Er beginnt seine Spur durchs Land zu einer Autobahn auszubauen, als er sich durch sämtliche Sampler dieser Zeit mixt und juggelt (Alte Schule, Joining Forces, Killing The Nation With A Groove, ...). Vielseitigkeit wird sein dritter Name. Er unterstützt die CrossOver-Kombo "Such A Surge" auf mehreren Tours und drei Alben. Wird in Deutschlands erster Fernseh-HipHop-Sendung "Freestyle", für 105 Sendungen, mit drei anderen Oldskoolern (Torch, Storm, Scope) als Host-DJ verpflichtet. Auch schon Legende. Macht im Team mit Marius No.1, Coolmann und Mirko Machine landesweit Partys zu Pflichtterminen. Und featured ansonsten immer wieder gerne (D- Flame, Roey Marquis und Torch, F.A.B., Toni L, Marius No.1). Als F.A.B. letztendlich auseinander fällt, entschließt er sich, dem einsamen Ferris MC fortan live BackUp zu geben und hat, unter diesem Vorsatz, viele einzelne Konzerte und eine komplette Tour soundtechnisch abgerundet. Auf der "Asimetrie"-LP produziert er, mit seinem No Remorze-Partner Kaoz das Intro und zwei weitere Tracks. Kaum ein großes Event findet ohne ihn statt, und um auch wirklich fast überall seine Finger im Spiel zu haben, organisiert er in den letzten vier Jahren mit DJ Phax die Radio-Show "Wildstyle" beim Offenen Kanal. Fehlt eigentlich nur noch, daß er beim NBA-AllStar-Game die Nationalhymne scratcht, also sind wir einfach mal gespannt... So. Wer es jetzt nicht weiß, weiß es wohl einfach nicht. Die Rede ist von "Mr. Acht-Finger-für-ein-Halleluja-und-die-Welt-ist-eine-Scheibe" : DJ STYLEWARZ Natürlich haben 20 Jahre deutsche HipHopStory auch Gegenwart und Zukunft. Als offiziell anerkannter und schwerstbeschäftigter Battle-, Konzert- und Party-DJ sollte Stylewarz wohl hier und da noch zu sehen und hören sein. Auch wenn er die gute, alte Originalität im DJ-Biz vermisst, fühlt er sich, dank guter, alter Kontakte, in der europäischen HipHop-Szene noch sehr wohl. Irgendein vermeintlicher Städte-Beef läßt ihn auf jeden Fall eiskalt. Und weil er auch weiterhin gern sein Ding macht, hat er endlich seine erste eigene Platte gemacht - "The Cut" wird am 5.8.02 veröffentlicht. Produziert hat er sie mit Kaoz und es gibt Dinger mit Torch, D-Flame, Bo, Toni L & Esa, Eißfeldt & David P., Immo, Cronite, Fiva MC, Spax & Blade und natürlich seinen No Remorze-Jungs. Nichtsdestotrotz ist es aber natürlich eine Scheibe für DJ`s. Er weiß ja, was sich gehört. Bleibt noch ein Blick in die Zukunft. Eine Überraschung: Es wird, irgendwann nach der Solo-Sache eine neue No Remorze-LP geben, aber pscht! Wir sind einfach mal gespannt...
