Et cette première, fut un moment grandiose pour tous les participants. Grandiose parce que pour la première fois, un mouvement résolument anti-système voyait le jour, se situant en dehors du giron des traditionnels partis politiques. Grandiose parce qu'étaient réunis lors de cette première, toutes les composantes de la société (blancs, arabes, asiatiques, noirs ou autres...) jadis instrumentalisées par le système et poussés à la division. Composantes de la société qui désormais sous la bannière du MDI sont à nouveau réconciliés autour d'un projet pour une humanité belle, parce que diverse. Avec de telles caractéristiques, il était dés lors plus qu'évident que le succès serait au rendez-vous. Et ce n'est pas la forte affluence (une salle archi-bondée remplis par au moins 200 personnes) qui démentira ce constat, puisque environ 70 personnes faute de place n'ont pû pénétrer les lieux ! Nous avons donc eu droit à un Kémi Séba, qui magnifiquement introduit par Tobias (membre du comité exécutif), a su garder en haleine tout un auditoire acquis à la cause du MDI. Il n'a ainsi eu de cesse pendant plus d'une heure et demi, d'exhorter le public à ne plus se soumettre à l'impérialisme, pousser chacun à l'exaltation de ses racines, et surtout enjoigner chacun à ne plus se conformer au diktat de la bien-pensance. Une première tout en réussite, qui laisse donc augurer d'un bel avenir pour le Mouvement des Damnés de l' Impérialisme.

Till' I Collapse - Eminem First off let me start by saying this is my list of songs that pump me up before games and before working out. I do want to hear your opinions on songs, and if you have a very good song I'm missing I will put it in the video. Think of this as a rough draft and I will revise it as neccesary. As you can see I am a big fan of Hip-Hop and Rap music. I do not enjoy metal or punk/emo music so please don't get all pissed off if that is the genre you listen too. I have looked and there are multiple videos with that genre in pump up music. This video was made for those who enjoy hip-hop. Again any suggestions you have will be appreciated and I will revise this video in the future. For now this is why I picked the songs I did. In The Air Tonight - A great rock song with a good message. Played in commercial for 2004 MLB playoffs and got me pumped. Numb/Encore - One of the best collabirations between a rock legend and rap legend enough said. Great beat with meaninful lyrics too. Sky Is The Limit - The title says it all. I might get some heat for this one because it is not well known. Weezy drops ridiculous lyrics with great beat. Down With The Sickness - Best rock song ever. Probably one of the best beats ever. Some say this could aguably be #1. Throw It Up - Great song that gets you motivated. It makes you want to punch someone in the face. That is my definition of a pump up song. Here Comes The Boom - Nelly drops a great track. Great for football players before a game because of the related theme. Note: From Longest Yard Lose Yourself - Arguably number 1. Can get even rap haters pumped up because of its deep, deep meaning. That's what a true pump up song is. It's A Fight - This was an interesting one. It's about boxing so obviously it pumps you up. It has a great beat too. Could be moved down maybe? 7-10 range? You tell me. Can't Be Touched - Probably should go down as the best pump up song in history. I would have to say this is a tie with # 1. Ultimate song. Till' I Collapse - My FAVORITE song ever. It's about never giving up and about not stoping "till you collapse."
