Alioune Guisse BADU Alioune Guisse was born in Dakar Senegal in 1975. He grew up in a family of artists and musicians. His father, Amadou Guisse, was the founder and lead singer of the Fulani 'Yella' music group named 'Lasli Fuuta',meaning originating from Fuuta. Fuuta is a region in Northern Senegal and the homeland of his father. This music group was the first group of its kind and the first group in Senegal dedicated to the promotion and evolution of Fulani music. In fact, Baaba Maal, the artist that inspired Guisse made his debut in " lasli Fuuta" as a singer. Aliounes interest in the musical arts peaked at an early age. Starting in elementary school, Alioune began honing his vocal and music composition skills by performing at local schools and community ceremonies and events. In 1992 Alioune won the prestigious, 'Oscar De Vacance', New Artist award. This prize is awarded annually to the best up and coming singer by Senegal's national television network. After completing high school in 1993, Alioune attended the Senegalese National School of the Arts for three years, majoring in African music. While attending the School of the Arts, Alioune learned how to compose and play traditional and contemporary African music. In 1996, Alioune formed his first band named 'Tim Timol' with his friends from the School of the Arts. 'Tim Timol', brought a new flavor to the 'Yella' sound by fusing this traditional Fulani musical style with hip- hop, rap and reggae. The band brought together a unique group of artists including two talented female rappers, a male MC, and Alioune as the vocalist. With Tim Timol, he toured West Africa and Europe, sponsored by the Belgian International Center for youth.Alioune is proud of his Fulani and Wolof heritage. He continues to and traditional African music in his native language of Wolof and Pulaar. In 2000, Alioune relocated to New York, USA where he joined the traditional West African Dance and Music performance company called Maimouna Keita African Dance Company. He taught traditional African music and songs for the company. In early 2004 Alioune returned to Senegal to realize his dream of releasing a solo album. The album entitled 'Machallah'. This solo project is a fusion of traditional and contemporary African music. The album has six songs appealing to both Yella and Mbalax fans. In 2004 the 1st single release 'Yaye Kene La', a song dedicated to mothers worldwide, went number one on Senegalese radio and TV. In 2006, the second single 'Africa Unites, calling for unity of the African peoples also went number one. Alioune currently has a new band in the US called 'Warref', meaning 'Do the Right Thing'. Warref is an afro-pop, world music band which plays a combination of traditional West African music, Yella and mbalax.

"Full Circle" also features The Game, DJ Quik, T-Pain, Too Short, Daz, Kurupt, and comedian Donnell Rawlings from the hit series "The Dave Chappelle Show."For more uncensored music videos visit the DMV channel on NO GOOD TV at Alvin Nathaniel Joiner IV (born September 18, 1974), better known by his stage name Xzibit, is an American rapper, actor, and television personality, who was born in Detroit, Michigan and was raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico by his father and stepmother. He is also known for hosting MTV's Pimp My Ride. He has released a new album once every two years since his 1996 debut At the Speed of Life; his most recent Full Circle, was released in October 2006. He also provided the voice for Abbott in the 2004 video game, The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay.At a very young age he was taught to write by his mother Trena who passed away when Xzibit was nine years old. His father re-married and the family moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico where Xzibit spent his adolescence. At the age of 13 Xzibit began listening to rap and writing lyrics, which didn't go over well with his ex-Marine father and strict stepmother, who were both Jehovah's Witnesses. From 14 to 17, Xzibit spent much of his time on the streets of Albuquerque and began to get into trouble. His misfortunes followed him to school and he was expelled from the high schools in Albuquerque.Xzibit started off as a member of the Likwit Crew, a loose collective of West Coast rappers including Tha Alkaholiks and King T. After touring with them in 1995, Loud Records released the young rapper's debut album, At the Speed of Life in 1996. The album quickly became an underground hit. When Xzibit released his follow-up, 40 Dayz & 40 Nightz (1998), he was again heralded as one of the West Coast's most promising talents despite no commercial success. He expanded his following with a series of albums beginning in the late 1990s, ultimately aligning himself with hip hop kingpin Dr. Dre. Xzibit's big breakthrough came when he joined Snoop Dogg for the Dr. Dre-produced hit, "Bitch Please." What followed were some high profile guest appearances on Dr. Dre's 6x platinum 2001, on songs like "What's the Difference?" and the posse song "Some L.A. Niggaz". By this time, Dre had invited the young rapper to criss-cross America during summer 2000 with the "Up in Smoke" tour which featured Snoop, Eminem, and Ice Cube, among many others. That winter, Loud released Xzibit's Restless with Dr. Dre as executive producer, which boasted the single "X". The song became the rapper's biggest hit yet.Xzibit returned with another album, Man Vs. Machine, yet again he fell a bit short of mainstream success, although he did manage to go gold. He continued to collaborate with his closest West Coast colleagues, primarily Ras Kass and Saafir with whom he formed The Golden State Project rap collective, and tha Liks, along with bigger names like Snoop Dogg and Eminem. His allegiance to the West Coast and former colleagues continued to win him much respect from his fans. Weapons of Mass Destruction followed two years later which also managed to go gold. Xzibit also has his own record label called Open Bar Entertainment.Xzibit also guest starred in the song Stand Up on the 2005 Alice Cooper album Dirty Diamonds. Xzibit used to be a part of a group called Strong Arm Steady with Mitchy Slick, Phil The Agony and Krondon, a group he practically founded. Xzibit actually left the group recently when they signed to Talib Kweli's Blacksmith Records. They are expected to release their first album, "Arms And Hammers" in the fall of 2006 under Blacksmith Music Corporation. Xzibit performed in Japan as part of Live Earth.Dupri said once he is a better producer than Dr. Dre and Timbaland. Dupri was in feud with Aftermath and with Dr. Dre, Eminem. Xzibit joined Aftermath and Dupri dissed him. Xzibit with the assistance of Eminem responded in the song My Name and Jermaine Dupri has never responded to this since. Xzibit and Eminem diss Jeramine Dupri in a DJ Kayslay exclusive "Grindin".This beef started when Xzibit claimed that he could have gained fame without J-Ro and the rest of Tha Alkaholiks and Xzibit had dissed Jermaine Dupri and King Tee. J-Ro dissed Xzibit on his song "The X-Homie" where one of the claims made was that Xzibit was posing as a Crip. Xzibit didn't respond to J-Ro, and the beef has been squashed and Joiner has began working with The Alkaholiks and Defari again. In the Gumball 3000 2007 rally, Xzibit took part driving a black Lamborghini Gallardo. During the first day of the rally, Dutch police seized his driver's license for doing 160 km/h where only 100 km/h allowed. After the penalty his co-driver took over the wheel and they were allowed to continue.Xzibit has appeared in several acting roles on the big screen. He portrayed Duncan in Full Clip in 2004 and Dexter in Derailed in 2005. He also played Zeke in XXX: State of the Union in 2005. He had a small role as a worker at New Detroit Stamping in 8 Mile. In 2006, he starred in Hoodwinked, as the voice of Chief Grizzly. Xzibit co-stars with pro-wrestler The Rock in the Gridiron Gang, released in 2006.Xzibit is the host of the MTV show Pimp My Ride. Together with Galpin Auto Sports (GAS) (seasons 1--4 featured West Coast Customs) they refurbish and upgrade old beat-up cars with new paint jobs, stereos, and other extraordinary refits.[8] Xzibit was also featured in a guest role as a rapper on the U.S. crime drama CSI: Miami. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri but grew up in Senegal until he was seven. He split time between Senegal and the U.S. until he was fifteen, then his family permanently moved to Jersey City, New Jersey and as such he speaks English, French, and Wolof. He recorded his first song, "Operations of Nature," at the age of fifteen. He was jailed for armed robbery and drug distribution charges, and used his time in prison to work on his music. Upon release, Akon began writing and recording tracks in his home studio. The tapes found their way to SRC/Universal, which released Akon's debut LP Trouble in June 2004. The album is a hybrid of Akon's silky, West African-styled vocals mixed with East Coast and Southern beats.Akon's solo debut album, Trouble was released on June 29, 2004. It spawned the hit singles "Locked Up" and "Lonely," as well as "Belly Dancer (Bananza)," "Pot Of Gold," and "Ghetto". Akon served a three-year jail sentence for grand theft auto, an experience that inspired his "Locked Up". "Locked Up" reached the top 10 in the U.S. and the top five in the UK. His manager Robert Montanez was shot to death following a dispute in New Jersey in December 2005. "Ghetto" became a radio hit when it was remixed by Green Lantern to include verses from legendary rappers 2Pac and The Notorious B.I.G. In 2005, he released the single "Lonely" (which samples Bobby Vinton's "Mr. Lonely"). The song reached the top five on the Billboard Hot 100, and topped the charts in Australia, the UK and Germany. His album also climbed to number one in the UK in April, 2005. When music channel The Box had a top ten weekly chart, which was calculated by the amount of video requests, Akon's "Lonely" became the longest running single on the top of the chart, spanning over fifteen weeks. Akon then released another single featuring with a New Zealand rapper, Savage with the single Moonshine, which had become a success in both New Zealand and Australia, becoming number one in the New Zealand charts. In 2005, Akon gained more popularity after being featured on Young Jeezy's debut album, Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101, on the song "Soul Survivor" which became a top five hit on the Billboard Hot 100.Akon's second album, entitled Konvicted, was released on November 14, 2006. Konvicted included collaborations with Eminem, Snoop Dogg and Styles P. Late August 2006, Akon released the single "Smack That" featuring Eminem, from the album. This single peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 for five consecutive weeks. The music video for "Smack That" was directed by Raymond Garced.
