This is the strong debute single from the French gangster rapper MC Raphael. MC Raphael is based on the the west side of Paris and his lyrics often reflect on his difficult childhood growing up in a neighbourhood with a sky high unemployment rate and a even higher crime rate. In a interview with the French newspaper Le Monde MC Raphael was quoted saying the following: "Growing up on the west side of Paris is an experience I don't want anyone to go through. Either the streets destroy you, or the streets make you. I had to sell drugs just to make it through the day and often i got into fights. I was stabbed five times during my career as a drug dealer and shot once in my left leg. At last it was the music that saved me.
